Tamreen is a program that uses the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to inspire young people to learn. It explores Qatar’s FIFA World Cup™ 2022 journey – from the historic bid to become hosts, all the way through to the legacy that the tournament will create. Films, games, quizzes, and more, all aligned to the national curriculum, provide the basis for flexible and fun lesson plans.

A101 partnered with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy to initiate this entire program and initiative together over a 3 year period, where we came on as a full-service digital agency to consult and execute a wide array of deliverables. This was elaborated through a collaboration with Qatar Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), to align the educational content with the national curriculum of Qatar.

Edutainment at the Qur’anic Botanic Garden: A Touchscreen Adventure

The Qur’anic Botanic Garden, a haven of botanical beauty, collaborated with A101 to introduce an enlightening and entertaining touchscreen experience for its visitors. Our dedication to blending education with entertainment shines through in this project, offering a vibrant informational display enriched with engaging games. This interactive platform, initially set within the garden’s headquarters, has now been expanded into a comprehensive mobile application, allowing botanical enthusiasts to explore from anywhere. Our professional photography team ensured every detail was captured, providing an authentic and visually stunning representation of the garden’s diverse flora.

Edutainment VR

Qatar Debate is a competition hosting more than 600 teams invited to debate which are often generating pressure and stress for their participants. A101 suggested, designed and developed a VR training program immerging the future candidates in a real environment and used to familiarize the user with such environment, debating techniques and ability to debate better.

Beginning with touchscreens and web solutions in the early stages of this field, Games, eLearning, Infotainment and Edutainment have progressed to mobile and tablet devices, as well as interactive platforms such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).

These applications are useful in a variety of real-world environments, such as museums, enterprises, theme parks, healthcare, and events. Typically they are used as quizzes, tests, and exams, 3D games, and simulators, value chain validators, touchscreen apps, augmented reality, virtual reality, and many other interactive outputs. The purpose of those developments are diverse, either for promotional purposes (marketing) or simply informative (infotainment) they also can be educational (edutainment, eLearning).
